It reached number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart (along with "We Are Family" and "He's The Greatest Dancer") for two weeks in March 1979, while charting at #35 on the US Billboard R&B chart (then called the Hot Soul Singles chart)〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Sister Sledge )〕). It also reached the UK top twenty in three separate decades.
